Mehul & Miriam

We met on Christian Connection in 2016. Before I met Mehul I was using CC on and off over the previous 3 years and that taught me a lot about myself and what I was looking for in my husband-to-be. I had been praying for a born-again, Indian, Christian partner. This combination is a rarity in this day and age, therefore I’d lost all hope in 2016 and was thinking about deleting my CC account, but after giving it to God and praying about it I knew I needed to give it one last go.

Mehul: "Just before meeting Miriam and making my CC profile I had come back from some time away seeking God about different things in my life, but especially when I was going to meet my wife. I knew that God had set aside someone for me and so I had been praying and waiting for around 10 years, but it had become hard to keep waiting when family and friends were settling down. However, I felt a strong pull to join CC and heard God say to me, “do you trust Me?”. I had always wanted a born-again, Indian, Christian wife who was grounded in God’s word and so at this point I had to trust God.

"I had only been on CC for 2 days after making my profile when Miriam’s profile popped up as my top match. After reading through it I was literally pinching myself! Everything that God had put in my heart about my wife was on Miriam’s profile. It was so surreal that I read over it probably 10 times..and then I asked God, should I message her? There was no voice but just a surge of warmth and joy and I knew it was right."

Miriam: "In April that year, I received a wave, followed by a short sweet message from Mehul. After a few days of messaging followed by long phone call conversations, we met up and we both knew that this was from God! We have lots in common, our faith, the hardships we’ve been through, our interests, the importance of family and the love for life. Six months later we got engaged and after a year and a half, we got married.

"Mehul is everything I ever wanted in a husband and so much more. He’s a Godly man, he has a passion for life, he’s kind, so caring and loving."

Mehul: "Miriam is everything that God said she would be and that I desired and far more besides. She loves me fiercely, is so bubbly and full of joy and life and is a true woman of God."

God brought us both together through Christian Connection and we can’t thank CC enough. Without CC we wouldn’t have found each other. We encourage all you singletons to pray about your future partner, be proactive in trying to find someone, be specific with God about the desires of your heart and trust Him to open doors.
