Daniel & Selena

Married 5 years with 3 beautiful children. God has truly blessed us. It all started with a message on Christian Connection asking Daniel for a coffee. After our second date I couldn’t get rid of him. We both felt so at peace and were engaged after dating 4 months and married 6 months after that.

We had a huge wedding at a beautiful venue and will treasure the memories from our special day forever. It really does sound like a fairy tale and it is, but we had a journey to get to that point. 12 months before we met we both had made a commitment to fully focus on God, get into the Word and pray for our future husband/wife. God is so faithful.

Our number one piece of advice to anyone out there single and wanting to meet someone - Turn your eyes to Jesus. Focus on him, rather than worrying about your future or crushing on someone who seems out of reach. Work on making yourself the God honouring person someone would want to spend their life with. Marriage is not always easy, but it is beautiful and worth the wait for the right person.
