Me and Becca met in April 2017, when she sent me a message after liking what she read about my faith (and my two kittens!) in my profile. We spoke regularly via the site for around a week, before swapping numbers and then arranging to meet up around 3 weeks in. Living 200 miles apart, we met halfway in the idyllic city of Ely and instantly got on, like we had known each other for ages! We met again the following week and our relationship just blossomed from there. God was, and is, so so good to us. Neither of us were sure how we would work the long distance aspect of our relationship but God opened so many doors. We tried to meet every two weeks, but every time it seemed like we weren't able to do it, God provided the answer and we are so thankful for that. I proposed in December 2017, back at Ely by the river after reliving our first date and we got married in September 2018, in the best day ever surrounded by God, our family and friends. Our advice would be to broaden your search, if Becca hadn't searched further afield, we would never have met! Pray about it, be courageous with that first wave or message, and go for it! I am going to be forever thankful for Becca sending me a message out of nowhere and God bringing us together.
