Alison & Paddy

Alison - In 2025 I decided to give Christian Connection a go. To be honest, I had resigned myself to a life by myself after over 20 years bringing up my boys alone. I prayed and felt God giving me the go ahead. June 2025, I came across a profile that really interested me so I gingerly gave a like. I quickly received a like back and we started chatting, first by text and then moving onto phone calls. After a couple of weeks I suggested that we meet. Paddy agreed but said he had something to tell me. He said that he has Multiple Sclerosis and is reliant on a power chair. My heart sank a little, however we had gotten on so well on the phone that I wanted to meet him in person. We met in June 2025 and from the minute we met, neither of us stopped talking and laughing. We share the same sense of humour, the same love for God and just have so much in common. Our relationship faces challenges due to the MS, however we do not allow this to get in the way of us having fun and adventures. I am so so grateful to Christian Connection for introducing us.

Paddy - I joined Christian Connection around 5 years ago. I had a brief relationship through meeting on CC, however this ended and I left my profile and membership open. I met a couple of ladies but these did not progress past our first meeting. Then in June I received a like from Ali and we started chatting. When she suggested meeting up, I knew that I had to tell her about my MS, however she was still keen to meet. When we met I picked up that she was very bubbly, with a very similar sense of humour to myself. After our first meeting, I felt very hopeful and said that I would love to see her again. We have now been together for 8 months and I can see us having a very happy future together.
